Dogging in Berkshire

From Maidenhead Thicket to Greenham Common, the county's best-known dogging spots, with a map for each.

Berkshire packs a lot into a small county: country parks and lakes around Reading and Woodley, forest car parks near Bracknell and Ascot, Maidenhead's commons and woods, and Greenham Common and the downs in the west.

Every spot has its own map, and those reached along a lane or a path also have a what3words address, which helps if you are on foot. Some of these places are full of families and dog walkers by day, so the notes say when they get going. Things change, so use each one as a place to start.
